My Story

our journey...

Intuitively artistic, Jaicelyn has long-enjoyed composing by hand: a true creative, she experimented with varying mediums including fashion design and Visual Arts before following her passion for flowers which lead her to complete a cert III in Floristry in 2019. For several years, Jaicelyn honed her skills in a fast-paced retail florist environment, crafting arrangements for a variety of weddings and events. Her deep love for wedding floristry was realised after designing for several family and friends' weddings - she was truly captivated by the impact she could have to a couple's most magical and intimate of celebrations.

our approach...

Jaicelyn's approach to floral design is deeply personal. Her knowledge of colour theory and design principles is interwoven with a unique perspective shaped by personal interests and an inspiration bank brimming with vintage fashion and styling sources. Studio Viola's approach intentionally embraces originality - adapting and individualising modern trends, rather than replicating or being strictly dictated by them. We believe in thoughtful design and care; ensuring every detail, from flower selection to placement tells a story. With a focus on mindful floristry, evolving our design methods to include sustainable alternatives where possible.

our style...

Inspired and sweetly nostalgic, Studio Viola intentionally handcrafts artful, organic floral designs with a delightful harmony of both old world charm and modern-day romance to beautifully frame couples heartfelt declarations and singular most significant milestone. Combining artistically curated blooms, foraged and found sculptural vessels and rich, textural embellishments, Studio Viola emanates a signature style that is nothing short of radiant: creating dreamy, sentimental scenes worthy of adorning any tale of everlasting love. // Photographer Credits: Main image: Kath Young Photography | "My Story" images: Kirsty Tulloch Photography
