Sculptural florals, iconic outfits and the sweetest cherub details...

Ash & Scott’s wedding was everything I love about intimate celebrations - thoughtful, romantic, and completely true to them. Held at the beautiful Guildhall Event Space in Fremantle, they gathered with 40 of their closest loved ones to celebrate over a long-table dinner surrounded by dreamy florals, candlelight and ethereal, vintage touches.

From the very beginning, Ash had a clear vision for the day, and working with such an easygoing, collaborative couple made the entire process a joy. To frame the couple during the ceremony, we created foam-free statement florals, placed atop our vintage stone plinths, with soft fabric draping from one side - a romantic, high impact moment that looked beautiful from day into night.

Their pastel modern florals struck a delicate balance: grouped florals and sculptural in shape, yet still utterly dreamy and romantic. Featuring tones of soft blush, white, green, and the palest soft blue, the arrangements featured fluffy reflexed roses, spray roses, amaranthus, calla lilies, dahlias, anthurium and hydrangeas - highlighted by the most amazing soft ice blue hydrangea we had been dreaming of and were so happy we managed to source! The finishing touch? The most gorgeous blush, white, and pale blue phalaenopsis orchids, adding a luxurious, cascading element to the designs.

The bar became a feature all its own, with soft blush draping and sculptural florals creating a statement at the back, while our vintage cherub collection and styled fruit framed the front. While the repurposed ceremony arrangements anchored either end. We especially loved how the cherub motif was echoed in their menus - sweet little details that tied the styling together in such an effortless way.

Along the reception table, soft pastel blooms were arranged in our collection of vintage vases, complemented by dreamy Hall of Flame candles supplied by the couple. Together, they created an effortlessly elegant tablescape that felt both artful and intimate - without getting in the way of the shared dining experience.

One of the most special moments of the day for me was securing a beautiful gold and pearl pin to Ash’s bouquet, holding a photo of her late mum. It was such a meaningful touch - a quiet, heartfelt way to carry her memory throughout the day.

Ash looked like she stepped out of a dream, floating down the aisle with her bouquet of water lilies and the most ethereal mantilla veil. And Scott’s embroidered suit? Truly iconic.

Working with couples like Ash & Scott is honestly such a dream. From the very beginning, they had a beautiful vision and gave me the trust and creative freedom to bring it to life - pure magic.
